BBC Radio 1 has become famous for its cover sessions but this latest one will probably go down as most memorable. Justin Bieber performed a six-song set live from Los Angeles including three of his own songs, his Major Lazer collaboration “Cold Water” and, interestingly enough, a cover of Tupac’s Thugz Mansion and Tracy Chapman’s Fast Car.

So Fast Car is probably safe enough - any pop star could pull that off and The Biebs actually does a very good job at it with his cover. Thugz Mansion on the other hand is one that will have a bunch of the internet talking. Backed by a sole acoustic guitar, Justin delivers a rap-sung performance which at first might seem a little odd but is actually pretty normal for him; he did this back in 2011.
