I think Linda needs no introduction in the entertainment industry but just in case you don’t know her,- Linda Ikeji is a celebrity blogger and one of top bloggers in Africa.

Her blog which started out as a gossip column has become one of the most celebrated in Africa, as it has become a daily portal for information, entertainment and news.

This is a lady  that started with nothing and rose to something from just mere gossip blogging o!

Hmmmmm, Who says “Amebo no be work”? Ask Linda.

The success story of Linda is a good example of how our lives can turn around for good when we don’t give up and put enough enthusiasm in whatever we do.

I remember reading her story when she said there was a particular year she had no money in her account and she vowed to not sleep with a man for money.

After so much hard work, her dreams came true and she’s now a millionaire which is exactly my point here.

We really need to sensitize our young ladies on how to create their own empire and make life meaningful for themselves without going the wrong way- sleeping with a man for money.

There are millions of opportunities out there and being a female doesn’t stop you from being a success.

The likes of Tara Fela Durotoye, Chimamanda, Bukola Elemide(Asa), Deola Sagoe, Genevieve Nnanji, Mo Abudu,Kaffy, Uche(Bella Naija) are good examples of how succesSful a woman could be if she is diligent.

Not all these women were born with silver spoons in their mouth, but they had to figure it out themselves.

So hey, being poor is not even an excuse and would never be.

Linda, through her blogging has built her own world. Earlier this year Y! Magazine named  her one of the most influential women in Nigeria and also she made the Suisse 50 list  of the movers and shakers in Africa. That’s a big one!

She was able to achieve all of these by mere blogging o! I repeat mere blogging o!.

Recently, she started a project on young girls being  “Self Made” touching their lives in a positive way, and apart from Linda, I think we need more female celebrities to come out and inspire young ladies, teach them diligence and let them know they can make it happen for themselves.

Dear Naija babes, you can be rich and successful  without sleeping with that Alhaji.

All you need need is hard work and smart moves.
